Hi! My Name is Allison and I'm the Owner and Founder of Book Alley Designs! And if you're curious I'm also known as A. Anthony as well.
Once I started having kids, I needed a hobby. I was tired of watching the same tv shows. I got back into reading and have been obsessed with books ever since! I read mostly Fantasy, Romance and every sub-genre in between! I've also loved being creative my whole life. Always loved making things or trying to come up with different ideas. I started an Etsy Shop March 2024 and tried designing apparel in just about every category. That didn't work too well. I wanted to design EVERYTHING. I needed to narrow things down. With trial and error and making plenty of mistakes, I learned a lot since then. After starting my "booktok" account I realized I should focus on Book Merch and book related items only. Things that I love! I started an Etsy Shop dedicated strictly to book related Items. It was going well! One day I decided to make a TikTok calling all authors and asking if I could work with them. I said I would read their book and design merch for them. It blew up! I never thought I'd have so many authors asking me to design stuff for them. Thats when I knew I found my calling. But after I listed my first collaboration on my Etsy shop, Etsy shut my shop down. With no explanation. So, I took that as my sign to start my own website! I love having this little side business and I didn't want to quit. So, here we are! That's my story!
I'm hoping to have a lot of licensed book merchandise on here in the future! I want to give everyone my best, no matter what Author, no matter what audience they have, EVERYONE.
